OUR STORY
Art Place Lagos was established in 2017 by a visionary group of Nigerian visual artists who shared a common dream—to build a creative space where artistic expression could flourish freely while fostering collaboration, innovation, and cultural dialogue.
More than just an exhibition venue, Art Place Lagos was conceived as a creative ecosystem where artists could develop professionally, engage the public, and contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s evolving art landscape.
Since its inception, the centre has hosted numerous exhibitions, workshops, artist gatherings, educational programmes, cultural conversations, and multidisciplinary art events that celebrate creativity in all its forms.
Today, Art Place Lagos continues to inspire artistic excellence while supporting both emerging and established artists.
